1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Figurenote (“the Service”) at figurenote.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Figurenote is a software-as-a-service tool that connects to QuickBooks Online via OAuth and generates draft client email summaries based on Profit and Loss report data. The Service uses Claude AI (provided by Anthropic) to generate these drafts.
The Service is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change at any time without notice.
3. Free and Paid Tiers
Figurenote offers a free tier that includes access for one (1) QuickBooks client at no charge, with no time limit. Paid tiers for multiple clients are planned and will be announced separately.
We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any tier at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before making changes that significantly affect existing users.
4. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when registering or submitting forms
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Not use the Service to generate misleading or fraudulent content
- Review all AI-generated email drafts before sending them to clients
- Accept responsibility for any emails you send to your clients
5. QuickBooks Integration
To use Figurenote, you must have a valid QuickBooks Online subscription with Intuit. By connecting your QuickBooks account to Figurenote, you:
- Confirm you have the right to access the QuickBooks account you are connecting
- Grant Figurenote read-only access to retrieve Profit and Loss reports
- Agree to Intuit's terms of service governing third-party application access
- Understand that Figurenote is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit
6. AI-Generated Content
Email drafts generated by Figurenote are produced by Claude AI and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that is not appropriate for your specific client relationship. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before sending it to clients. Figurenote does not send emails on your behalf — all sending is done by you from your own email client.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Figurenote and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated email drafts
- Loss of business, revenue, or reputation
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Third-party actions or decisions
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
8. No Warranty During Beta
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. During the beta period, the Service may be unavailable, unreliable, or subject to significant changes. We make no guarantee of uptime, data retention, or feature availability.
9. Intellectual Property
The Figurenote name, logo, and website content are owned by Figurenote. AI-generated email drafts produced using your QuickBooks data are provided to you for your use. We do not claim ownership of the content you create using the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
